Scott and Charlie, best friends with deep roots in the construction industry, had always been passionate about tools.

Scott's journey began as a child, sitting on his father's lap on a digger, absorbing the world of construction. At 14, while still in school, he entered an early college program, gaining hands-on experience on construction sites and learning bricklaying. By 16, Scott discovered his love for carpentry, made a career shift, and still to this day leaning all aspects of the trade.

Charlie, on the other hand, left school at 16 to jump straight into steel erecting. He excelled in his trade, eventually starting his own company, handling everything from installation to managing large steelwork projects. Throughout their careers, Scott and Charlie always envisioned working together, dreaming of running a business.

One evening, sitting in a pub after a long day's work, they found themselves grumbling about the high cost of tools, particularly a 12mm cobalt drill bit priced at £19 plus VAT. Fueled by a few pints and a competitive spirit, they set themselves a challenge: to source that same drill bit—or even better—at a fraction of the cost. What started as a casual conversation turned into weeks of phone calls, chasing manufacturers worldwide, and testing samples.

After months of research, brainstorming sessions, and countless rejected brand names, Tool-Fuel was born. By October 10th, 2023, they finally found a product that met their high standards for quality and durability. The real work began: building a website, designing packaging, setting up accounts, and laying the foundation of their business.

On June 28th, 2023, Tool-Fuel launched with five core products from their 54-product range. To their amazement, they sold out within two weeks, far surpassing expectations. After quickly restocking and refining their packaging, they introduced five more products, with plans to add more before Christmas.

With the journey just beginning, Scott and Charlie's vision is to create an unparalleled tool accessory brand, rooted in the needs of tradespeople and built by those who understand the industry inside out.
